2020 was a year of great awards for Agrifrom cheeses. In addition to Grana Padano Pdo Quota 1000, winner of the Italian Food Awards 2020 and the Cibus Forum, our Piave Pdo Oro del Tempo was awarded both at the Caseus Veneti 2020 and at the Superior Taste Award 2020.
Its success was great at the Caseus Veneti, a competition dedicated to the best cheeses of the Veneto region held on 26 and 27 September 2020 inside Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta (Padova). Here, Piave was awarded both by the "Giuria Aurea" (Golden Jury), made up of chefs, sector journalists and bloggers, and by the "Giuria Popolare" (Popular Jury), made up of visitors, as the absolute best in the "Aged Pdo" category, and received the “category award” as well.
During the Superior Taste Awards 2020, held in Brussels in June 2020, Piave Pdo obtained for the fifth consecutive year the highest rating, three stars, corresponding to the definition of "Exceptional Taste" by the jury of Chefs and Sommeliers of the International Taste Institute.
